App State vs. High Point basketball coming to Novant Health Fieldhouse on Saturday, Dec. 14
The App State and High Point University men’s basketball teams will face off on Saturday, Dec. 14 at 2 p.m. at the Novant Health Fieldhouse at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex.

Coming off one of the best seasons in program history, the App State men’s basketball team will look to defend its regular-season Sun Belt title in 2024-25. Reigning Sun Belt Coach of the Year Dustin Kerns enters his sixth season as the head man in Boone, having tallied five straight seasons with a winning percentage of .500 or better. Highlighting this year’s team is Myles Tate, who enters his second season with the team, and CJ Huntley, who returns for his fifth year with the Mountaineers.
The High Point University men’s basketball team is excited for the upcoming 2024-25 season. Head Coach Alan Huss enters his second year at the helm and returns eight players from the 2023-24 Big South Regular Season Championship team while adding 11 newcomers for the upcoming season. Three players return to the squad are receiving postseason honors in 2023-24, including Juslin Bodo Bodo, who was named the Big South Freshman and Defensive Player of the Year, a National Freshman All-American and was a finalist for the Kyle Macy Freshman of the Year award. In addition, Kezza Giffa and Kimani Hamilton were named to the All-Conference team.
