For the sixth consecutive year, the Greensboro Complex's Special Events Center will once again serve as the home of the World Ninja League Championships.

The 2026 World Ninja League Championships will take place June 18-23 and feature more than 2,900 athletes from 10 countries competing over six days of intense, fun-filled action. Athletes will compete in age-based divisions with participants ranging in age from 6 years old to 40 years old and beyond.

One of the fastest-growing sports in the world, ninja features exciting obstacle course competitions that test athletes' technique, strength, agility and endurance across a variety of challenges. Competitive ninjas include athletes of all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels from around the globe.

The Championships will kick off with an opening ceremony on June 17 at 4 p.m., hosted by Akbar Gbaja-Biamila, co-host of NBC's American Ninja Warrior.

Locally, Level Up Gym in Thomasville will host on-site qualifying competitions June 17-19 for the 2026 Championships.

The Greensboro Area Convention and Visitors Bureau estimates the 2026 World Ninja League Championships will generate more than $6.8 million in economic impact for the region, supporting local businesses, jobs, and tax savings for Guilford County residents
