High Point University vs. Miami University (OH) Men's Basketball to face off Dec. 12 at Novant Health Fieldhouse

Two mid-major powers fresh off headline-making postseason runs will square off on the neutral floor of Novant Health Fieldhouse in Greensboro, NC on December 12, 2026.

 

High Point University and Miami University (OH) have finalized a two-year neutral-site series, officially recognized as the Riley Decker Showcase. The matchup sets the stage for a marquee December clash in Greensboro before the series shifts to a neutral venue near Miami's campus in 2027.

Both programs enter the 2026 non-conference slate following historic campaigns that captured the national college basketball spotlight:

• High Point University Panthers: Fresh off a 2nd-straight Big South championship and an NCAA tournament run busting brackets as a 12-seed, taking down Wisconsin from the Big Ten in the First Round.
• Miami University RedHawks: Coming off an undefeated regular season that culminated in a MAC title run and a victory in the NCAA Tournament First Four over SMU from the ACC.
