Greensboro Gargoyles
The ECHL’s 30th Member team, the Greensboro Gargoyles, will begin play in the 2025-26 season, with their inaugural game set for Saturday, Oct. 18, 2025 at First Horizon Coliseum. The Gargoyles are owned and operated by Zawyer Sports & Entertainment, led by CEO Andy Kaufmann. The team has entered into an affiliation agreement with the National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes and the American Hockey League’s Chicago Wolves.
